Hi, I’m Dr. Alice Mills Mai, EMDR trauma therapist, resilience researcher, writer, and Ghanaian woman committed to helping African and Black communities come home to themselves.

I created this journal to offer the gentleness, truth, and grounding that saved me during some of the hardest moments of my life.
